Kigali City
Izuba Tours guide
Kigali is Rwanda’s clean, calm and well-organised capital, built across green hills and busy neighbourhoods.
For many travellers, it is the first introduction to Rwanda. The city combines modern growth, strong history, friendly people and a relaxed East African rhythm.
Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, explore local markets, enjoy city viewpoints, discover art spaces, and taste Rwandan food in cafés and restaurants.
Kigali is also a good starting point for short day tours, countryside visits, coffee experiences and longer journeys to Volcanoes, Akagera, Nyungwe and Lake Kivu.

Kigali is easy to move around with a private driver-guide. Roads are good, the city is safe by regional standards, and most hotels, restaurants and main attractions are within comfortable driving distance.
